FedEx Dimensional Weight Calculator

Estimate FedEx dimensional weight and billable weight by entering package length, width, height and actual weight. The divisor is editable for service-specific rules.

Divisors auto-fill from tracked public carrier rules and can be overwritten. FedEx commonly uses divisor 139 for inch/lb dimensional weight. Service-specific and contract rules may vary.

Dimensional weight13.82 lb
Actual weight8.00 lb
Billable weight13.82 lb
Formula: L x W x H in inches / divisor
Your calculation: 16 x 12 x 10 / 139 = 13.82 lb.

FedEx formula

Dimensional weight = length x width x height / divisor.

Example: a 16 x 12 x 10 inch package has 1,920 cubic inches. With divisor 139, dimensional weight is 13.82 lb, so a shipment weighing 8 lb may bill at 13.82 lb or the carrier-rounded equivalent.
